High Beginning
This course is designed for students who have completed or tested out of a minimum of one semester (or two quarters) of college-level Spanish. However, students must take a placement exam to determine the course level into which they will be able to enroll.

Overview

The aim of this course is for the students to reflect about language production in general and to know the phonologic and phonetic systems in Spanish. Students should compare this to their mother tongue’s system so that they understand the phenomenon of sound production, improving their pronunciation and the acquisition of useful tools for language teaching in general.
