High Intermediate
This course is designed for students who have completed or tested out of a minimum of three semesters (or five quarters) of college-level Spanish. However, students must take a placement exam to determine the course level into which they will be able to enroll.

Overview

This course is a workshop where students have the opportunity to reaffirm their Spanish knowledge, acquire vocabulary from different areas of knowledge in its own context, compare grammatical aspects of both English and Spanish and put them into practice when translating. This course will provide students with techniques of reading, writing and translation, as well as features of comparative grammar (English and Spanish) that will be useful for them to solve problems when translating.
