Overview
This course focuses on explaining the Mexico of today, centering on the economic, political, and cultural projects developed there. The course examines both the country's achievements and failures in order to understand the country's uneven growth and why unmet needs and hardships persist among Mexicans at the turn of the 21st century. The student will explore the most important economic, political, and sociocultural processes from 1920 to the present and will have the opportunity to consider these issues for themselves.
