The Meknès semester program provides students with little or no Arabic language experience the opportunity to choose among courses taught in English. Students may select courses in subjects such as history, culture, architecture, arts, religion, politics, gender studies, and more. Additionally, students are required to participate in at least one Arabic (or French- beginning in the Winter 2009 semester) language course at the beginning, intermediate or advanced level. Semester students will being their program in Granada, Spain where they will experience a multi-day orientation excursion before traveling across the Strait of Gibraltar to their host city of Meknès.
