High Beginning

Prior to enrolling in courses at this language level, students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of one semester (or two quarters) of college-level language at their home university in the U.S.

Students will study the basics of written standard Arabic, engaging in the reading and writing of Arabic script, progressing to conversation, with the ultimate goal of providing them with a sufficient knowledge base to be able to follow the publications of diverse media.
