Academic YearCourses with Locals in English - Florida State University-PanamaThis program offers courses at the beginning and intermediate levels. Beginning students will take a comprehensive elementary Spanish class and will also have the option of taking up to three more classes from a wide variety of courses offerings that are instructed in English. Intermediate level students may take one of two Spanish courses offered and will then be able to enroll in three more courses instructed in English. Students may choose to take up to 16 credits from the courses below. Students who have not completed a college semester or quarter of Spanish language or the equivalent, must choose language as one of their courses. Courses are taught by Florida State University- Panama faculty. Students will be in class with local and international students. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a transcript issued by FSU. EligibilityMinimum GPA Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50. Minimum Admissions Prerequisites There is no language prerequisite for this program. In order to be eligible for this program, applicants must be degree-seeking students at their home university.
