Samantha McGarry, originally from Vermont, graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Spanish Language and Culture. She fell in love with Spain on her first study abroad experience in Oviedo. She returned a year later to complete her senior year of university in Seville. During her study abroad programs she travelled extensively in Spain and Morocco. In addition to travelling, she enjoys cooking, dancing, attending concerts and bike riding. In 2003 she visited Barcelona for the first time and decided to make it her home. She taught English as a second language in Barcelona before joining the ISA team.
