The capitol of Spain’s most important wine region, Logroño is an important center of trade for the region. Situated along the religous pilgrimage known as the Camino de Santiago it is the largest city in the province and is surrounded by vineyards and bodegas. Near by Pamplona is home to some of Spain’s most significant bullfights which take place during the fiestas of San Fermin. As is the case with many cities in this area of Spain; well kept shops, cafes and parks line the river (Arga) that runs through town. Located in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains, the opportunity to visit the picturesque capitol of Navarra is not to be missed.
