Minimum Admissions Prerequisites For high advanced level Spanish speakers, and higher. Students must have a 2.5 GPA and must have completed a MINIMUM of 5 semesters, 8 quarters, or the equivalent of college-level Spanish. PLEASE NOTE: Enrollment in the Hispanic Studies semester program is strictly determined by the results of an on-site placement exam administered by the University of Granada. We strongly suggest that students whose home universities require them to place into Hispanic Studies sign up for Fall/Spring A programs (rather than the equivalent B programs) so that, by taking a month-long intensive Spanish module before the start of semester classes, they may increase the likelihood of being eligible for the classes they need.
