High Advanced
This course is designed for students who have completed or tested out of a minimum of five semesters (or seven quarters) of college-level Spanish. However, students must take a placement exam to determine the course level into which they will be able to enroll.

Overview

Objective

This course is directed toward students that have a desire to learn general economic language as well as the specific characteristics of Spanish and Latin American economics. This class will also look at the cultural differences between each country and the protocol for conducting business between Latin America and Spain.

Activities

Students will do a series of oral and written exercises pertaining to the proposed themes of the class. There will also be short debates and class discussions revolving around each country.
