GranadaSemester / Trimester:Hispanic StudiesWinter 3B 2010 (Jan 3, 2010 to May 20, 2010) This program offers Spanish language courses as well as a variety of Hispanic Studies courses at the advanced level. Students begin with an 60 hour Intensive Spanish course. Then students will take a minimum of four courses and a maximum of five courses. All classes are taken at the University of Granada with international students. However, students with a very high language level may be allowed to take up to two courses with Spaniards. Minimum Admissions Prerequisites For advanced level Spanish speakers. Students must have a 2.5 GPA and must have completed 5 semesters, 7 quarters, or the equivalent of college-level Spanish. All students must take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Granada. If the exam indicates that the student's language level is insufficient for this program, the student may be required to switch to the Spanish Language and Culture program.
