Semester / Trimester:

Intensive Spanish Language Trimester

Spring 2009 (Feb 24, 2009 to May 30, 2009)
University of Granada
Catalog Code: IGRS1109

The trimester program can accommodate students at the beginning, high beginning, low intermediate, high intermediate, low advanced, high advanced, and superior Spanish language levels. The program consists of three Spanish language modules, each covering the skills of writing, reading, speaking and listening. All students are required to take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Granada. The exam will indicate each student’s language proficiency level, and will determine the level of the first module in which the student is eligible to enroll. After successfully completing the first module, each student will move on to subsequent levels during the second and third modules. For example, a student who places into the high beginning level would complete Spanish language courses at the high beginning level (1st module), low intermediate level (2nd module), and high intermediate level (3rd module), throughout the semester. All classes are with international students.
