Overview

OBJECTIVE
This course, which consists of both theoretical and practical components, attempts to explore Spanish culture through art, taking into consideration three of the most significant figures in Spanish painting: El Greco, Velázquez, and Goya. The study of these three great Spanish painters whose art can be found in the Prado will analyze social and historical aspects of their works while examining artistic characteristics such as composition, style, etc.
