A variety of options exist for students wishing to spend a semester in Málaga. The three ISA semester programs at the University of Málaga vary in length and academic content. The Intensive Spanish Language program offers courses at the beginning and intermediate levels. The Spanish Language and Culture program offers courses at the intermediate level. The Hispanic Studies program offers courses at the advanced level.

The Spanish Language and Culture Summer program in Málaga offers courses at all Spanish language levels. Courses include language, culture, and literature. All courses are held with international students and are taught by faculty from the host university. There are two summer sessions to choose from. Students may participate in back-to-back sessions.

The Intensive Month program in Málaga offers Spanish language courses at all language levels. Courses focus on Spanish language, conversation, culture, and civilization. All courses are held with international students and are taught by host university faculty. The Intensive Month can be completed as an individual program or it can serve as a precursor to another longer program.
