ISA offers two Academic Year options in Málaga: the Spanish Language, Culture and Electives in English program and the Studies with Spaniards program at the University of Málaga. These programs have options for students at the beginning level, all the way up to the superior level.

A variety of options exist for students wishing to spend a semester in Málaga. The three ISA semester programs at the University of Málaga vary in length and academic content. The Intensive Spanish Language program offers courses at the beginning and intermediate levels. The Spanish Language, Culture and Electives in English program offers courses at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. The Studies with Spaniards program offers courses at the superior level.

The Spanish Language and Culture Summer program in Málaga offers courses at all Spanish language levels. Courses include language, culture, and literature. Students enroll in courses with ISA students and classes are taught by host university faculty. There are two summer sessions to choose from, and students may participate in back-to-back sessions.

The Intensive Month program in Málaga offers Spanish language courses at all language levels. Courses focus on Spanish language, conversation, culture, and civilization. All courses are held with international students and are taught by host university faculty. The Intensive Month can be completed as an individual program or it can be combined with another ISA program. Many students choose to participate in an Intensive Month program as a precursor to their semester/year program.
