For this excursion, you will leave Salamanca heading towards Peña de Francia, which is located in the Sierra of Salamanca, approximately an hour and a half from the city. There, along with the incredible panoramic view of a large part of the province, you will visit a sanctuary that has been conserving the image of Nuestra Señora de la Peña de Francia. After this visit, you will continue to another town called Sequeros, where you will begin an optional walking route. It is a walking route through the Sierra that is known by the name of “Asentadero de los curas.” The walking tour is an amazing walk through nature where you will stop at interesting stops and the guide will tell historical accounts in an attempt to preserve the history and tradition of this land.
