The following activities are often available in Salamanca, offering opportunities for students to participate in and learn about Spanish culture:A guided visit is organized for students to explore the sites of Salamanca and the University of Salamanca. Resident staff members will show you the best restaurants, shops, monuments and plazas of the city and will give you a thorough introduction to your new home.Language and culture exchanges (intercambios) are arranged with Salmantinos to give students the opportunity to interact with locals of the same age.Salamanca provides students with a great number of opportunities to get involved in the community through volunteer experiences. Volunteer opportunities are arranged once you are in Salamanca. In the past, students have worked with organizations involved in healthcare, childcare and services for those with disabilities.Participate in free cooking classes and dance classes with other ISA students.Attend a soccer game or a concert, visit the local cinema, tour any number of Salamanca's museums or participate in holiday festivities.
