Tue. 09/22 Orientation Arrive in Madrid, Spain. Check into hotel and rest. Mandatory orientation meeting and city visit in evening. Wed. 09/23 Excursion Guided tour of El Museo del Prado and visit El Palacio Real. Thu. 09/24 Excursion Day trip to Valle de los Caídos and El Escorial. Arrive in Toledo. Mandatory meeting in the evening. Fri. 09/25 Excursion Guided tour of Toledo in the morning. Mandatory meeting. Free evening. Sat. 09/26 Travel Leave for Salamanca. Arrive in Salamanca and meet your host families. Sun. 09/27 Exams Placement exams at the University of Salamanca. Mon. 09/28 Classes Regular classes begin at the University of Salamanca. Classes usually meet Monday through Thursday, and usually in the mornings, but this will be determined by the University each semester. Most weekends are free. Excursions: cities and dates to be announced Tue. 09/29 - Thu. 12/17 Free Time Christmas break. Fri. 12/18 - Sun. 01/24 Classes Regular classes at the University of Salamanca.
