This course is divided into two sections covering theoretical and practical aspects of Geopolitics. The theoretical component includes: the beginnings and concepts of geopolitics, classic geopolitics, present day geopolitics and its relation to politics, ideology and economy, external geopolitics: problems of borders, conflicts, and nationalism, internal geopolitics: the State and regional minorities, minorities, electoral geography, and territorial layout.
