Overview

The main objective of this course is the study of geographical factors in the configuration and dynamism of ecosystems along with an analysis of different planetary ecosystems with special attention given to environmental characteristics. In addition the effects of human activities over natural ecosystems will be studied. The following topics will be covered climate and the influence of climatic factors, water and its properties in the configuration of ecosystems, the earth and influence on population distribution, topographical factors and the jointing of geographical space, vegetation: causes and consequences of dynamism of ecosystems, the biggest ecosystems of the planet, Spanish ecosystems, man and the biosphere.
