Arrive in Madrid, Spain. Check into hotel and rest. Orientation meeting and city visit in evening.

Guided tour of El Museo del Prado, and El Palacio Real.

Excursion
Day trip to El Escorial and Valle de los Caídos. Arrive in Toledo. Mandatory meeting in the evening.
Fri. 10/02
Excursion
Guided tour of Toledo in the morning. Mandatory meeting in the evening.
Sat. 10/03
Travel
Depart for Salamanca and meet your host families.
Sun. 10/04
Exams
Placement exams at the University of Salamanca.
Mon. 10/05
Classes
Regular classes at the University of Salamanca. Classes meet five days a week. Most weekends are free. Excursions to be announced.

Exams
Last week of classes and final exams.

Travel
Arrive in Madrid and return to the states.
