Tue. 03/24 Orientation Arrive in Madrid, Spain. Check into hotel and rest. Orientation meeting and city visit in the evening. Wed. 03/25 Excursion Guided tour of El Valle de los Caidos and El Escorial. Thu. 03/26 Excursion Day trip to Reina Sofia Museum and El Palacio Real. Arrive in Toledo. Mandatory meeting in the evening. Fri. 03/27 Excursion Guided tour of Toledo in the morning. Mandatory meeting in the evening. Sat. 03/28 Travel Leave for Salamanca. Arrive in Salamanca and meet your host families. Sun. 03/29 Exams Placement exams at the University of Salamanca. Mon. 03/30 Classes Regular classes begin at the University of Salamanca. Classes meet five days a week. All weekends are free. Excursions: cities and dates to be announced. Tue. 03/31 - Fri. 06/05 Exams Last week of classes and final exams. Mon. 06/08 - Thu. 06/11 Travel Travel by bus to Madrid and return to the States. (Students may stay and travel if they wish.) Fri. 06/12 Holidays Holiday Semana Santa.
