Thu. 01/01 Orientation Arrive in Madrid, Spain. Check into hotel and rest. Mandatory orientation meeting and city visit in evening. Fri. 01/02 Excursion Guided tour of El Museo del Prado and El Palacio Real. Sat. 01/03 Excursion Day trip to Valle de los Caídos and El Escorial. Arrive in Toledo. Mandatory meeting in the evening. Sun. 01/04 Excursion Guided tour of Toledo in the morning. Mandatory meeting. Free evening. Mon. 01/05 Travel Leave for Salamanca. Arrive in Salamanca and meet your host families. Tue. 01/06 Exams Placement exam at the university. Wed. 01/07 Classes Regular classes at the University of Salamanca. Classes meet five days a week. All weekends are free. Excursions: city and dates to be announced. Thu. 01/08 - Fri. 03/13 Exams Last week of classes and final exams. Mon. 03/16 - Tue. 03/17 Travel Bus to the Madrid airport and return to the States.
