Prior to enrolling in courses at this language level, students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of 2 upper-division college-level Spanish courses at their home university in the U.S.

OVERVIEW
This course involves the study of the evolution of the economy, societies, politics, and American cultures from the discovery to the beginning of the emanation period. It is connected however, to the evolution of history of South and North America without loosing reference to the experimental developments done by the metropolis during the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries.
