Prior to enrolling in courses at this language level, students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of 2 upper-division college-level Spanish courses at their home university in the U.S.

III. THE ORIGIN OF THE CONSTITUTION.
1. The Spanish historical constitutionalism.
2. The Constitution of 1978: origin and characteristics.

IV. THE PRESENT CONSTITUTION.
1. Preamble, values and principles.
2. The Constitution as source of the Law and the constitutional structure of the system of sources of the Law.
3. The process of democratic legitimation.
