Overview

OVERVIEW
With the goal of a better knowledge of Spanish and Latin American literature, this course presents a thorough analysis of all the elements involved in literary creation. As such, the milestones of literature and their contributions will be described, using 20th century works as examples. Our objectives are:
- To furnish samples of actual literary texts, chosen based on the student's cultural and professional interests, for the purpose of applying linguistic and literary theory.
- To obtain different and valid interpretations of these texts, to analyse other interpretations proposed over time and, to describe in detail the characteristic structures of each type of text.
- To put the student in contact with the most adequate bibliography, bearing in mind the different levels of profundity in the field.
