

Sevilla is the capital of Andalusia and of the province of Sevilla. It is located in the South of Spain on the plain of the Guadalquivir River.
The population of Sevilla proper is approximately 700,000 but the population of the greater Sevilla area is nearly 1,500,00, making Sevilla the forth largest metropolitan area in Spain.
Sevilla has a Mediterranean climate and is one of the warmest cities in Spain. The winters are mild and the summers are sunny and very warm.
