The subjects vary from history and political science to business and biology. Beginning, intermediate and advanced level Spanish language courses are also available. All classes are with American and other international students. Students who demonstrate superior Spanish language proficiency on the on-site placement exam may participate in up to two classes with Spanish students by means of the Program for Integration with the University (PIU). The ISA Business and Liberal Arts program is perfect for the student who enjoys a traditional university atmosphere, yet wants regular interaction with Spanish students. There is no language prerequisite for beginner courses and courses taught in English. Intermediate and advanced level students may enroll in subject courses taught in Spanish with international students. Students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of two college-level Spanish courses to be eligible for intermediate Spanish language courses.
