This program offers intermediate and advanced level courses in language, culture, history, art, and literature. Program participants will be in class with other international students. All classes are taught in Spanish by faculty from the host university.

Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

Students must have completed or tested out of a minimum of two semesters (three quarters) of college-level Spanish.

Course Disclaimer

All students must take a Spanish language placement exam upon arrival in Valencia. The exam will indicate each student's language proficiency level, and may determine the courses in which the student is eligible to enroll. Students who arrive in Spain having completed the equivalent of one year of college-level Spanish will likely place into intermediate-level courses. Students who arrive in Spain having completed the equivalent of two years or more of college-level Spanish will likely place into advanced-level courses. Please note that ISA cannot guarantee course placement.
