By placing the values of truth, knowledge, and human decency at the core of its mission statement, the University commits itself to promoting the educational, social, and cultural well-being of its students and surrounding community. To enhance academic progress, the University of Guanajuato boasts a newly developed automated library system, based in the main Biblioteca de la Unidad Belén. Other libraries in the Colleges of Philosophy, Letters, and History; the College of Mines; College of Chemistry ; and the Humanities Research department provide easy access for students who wish to obtain a wide variety of specialized material. Beyond the classroom, the University makes efforts to connect its students to the broader world of art, music, literature, and film. In the annual university - sponsored Festival Cervantino, people from all over the world come to view international works of art, attend concerts by famous musicians, and view insightful documentaries. Plays, concerts, movies, parades, and dance festivals also occur year-round. University of the Pacific![]() Students take class in both of the two buildings pictured (Buildings A and B). There is a rooftop cafeteria located on top of Building B. ISA students will attend the University of the Pacific, which is the most prestigious in Peru in its fields of specialization: economics and business administration. The University of the Pacific was established in 1962 and currently has an enrollment of 1,600 undergraduate students. The university hosts students from over forty international universities, primarily from Europe. The UP is a highly technological university; all classes have Internet access and multimedia equipment. The distinguished reputation of the University of the Pacific is exemplified in the numerous books, articles, and study guides published by UP professors. In addition to the regular courses, students in the fall, winter, and year programs can participate in extracurricular activities such as: folkloric dance, guitar, painting, theater, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and more. University of Belgrano![]() Universidad de Belgrano The University of Belgrano (UB) is a private institution that was founded in 1964. The UB's goals are to provide high-quality education, to promote research in all disciplines, and to foster the social and cultural development of the community. After more than thirty years of continuous growth, the University of Belgrano now has thirteen schools devoted to both undergraduate and graduate education in several fields. More than 14,000 students are enrolled in 33 undergraduate majors and 20 graduate programs. The University offers month, summer, semester and year language programs for international studies. The University itself is situated in a lovely urban area surrounded by parks and residential neighborhoods. Nearby is the commercial center of Belgrano, a suburb in northeast Buenos Aires, only a quick subway or bus-ride away from downtown Buenos Aires. | |
