Build your perfect gap year program with WorldStrides

Hey parents! Read this.

We get it - seeing your senior put college on hold to go explore the world can feel like a big unknown. Don't worry, this program bridges the best of both worlds (complete with university courses and credit) while setting them up to reach their full potential. A Gap Year program allows your student to see new places, meet new people, and collect new life experiences that will then help them focus on what they want for their future.

But what about going back to school?

According to the Gap Year Association's Gap Year Alumni 2020 Survey, taking a gap year or break from higher education does not change the likelihood of completing a bachelor's degree. In fact, 44% of survey respondents said it actually increased their likelihood of beginning or going back to college, and 83% of respondents enrolled or continued their higher education immediately following their gap year.
