OverviewMain OutcomesAt the end of this module students should be able to: Provide an overview of mainstream theories of personality Demonstrate the ability to critically evaluate personality theories within the South African Context Understand the implications of each of these theories regarding psychopathology formation, psychotherapy and psychometryMain ContentIntroduction to the following theories: Freud, Jung, Horney, Erikson, Fromm, Rogers, Bandura, Skinner, Allport and South African perspectives on the study of Self
Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
