    Main Outcomes
    At the end of the module students should be able to:
    Solve problems in elementary set theory and logic.
    Use combinatorial techniques to solve various enumerative
    combinatorial problems.
    Formulate and solve counting problems in algebra and graph theory.

    Introduction to axiomatic set theory and logic.
    Enumerative combinatorics.
    Introductory graph theory.

    Breakdown of Learning Time:

    Contact with lecturer /tutor: 42 hours, 3 lectures per week
    Assignments & tasks: 30 hours, 2 practicals per week (4 hrs)
    Practicals: 56 hours
    Assessments: 10 hours
    Self study: 62 hours
