    The ultimate goal of the course is to improve students’ drug discovery proficiency by exposing them to fundamental and advanced synthetic reactions applicable to the preparation of drug molecules and intermediates. The carefully chosen material is intended to maximum the capability of students to absorb the most valuable reactions and corresponding theory. The course targets to lead student to: familiar with scientific English of chemistry and pharmacy; identify the synthetic problems; design synthetic routes of drug molecules as well as intermediates; extract most valuable synthetic methodologies.
