    Course Objectives
    The main objectives of this course are to:
    1) Introduce the process of globalization and the implications of globalization for business firms and their managers
    2) Examine the different strategies that businesses can adapt to compete in the global marketplace and enter specific foreign markets
    3) Explore the role played by marketing, operations, and human resource management within an international business

    Course Description
    The topics are introduced in lectures and then exercised with group assignments. Thereby students will build their understanding of the operation of global enterprises. Additionally, the students are asked to prepare and conduct a team presentation related to the topics. The course concludes with a final exam.
