    Course Objectives
    Students learn to craft short, argumentative essays about global issues. In addition, students will master punctuation by writing several essays.

    Course Description
    This course consists of 7 longer readings and 7 short essays (2-3 pages) about those readings. Course readings will be essays and articles from sources like Harpers, The Atlantic, The Guardian, and The New York Times. Class discussions consist of argument analysis and a review of the key terms for each text.
