    Course Objectives
    This course seeks to develop the academic reading, researching, and writing skills of students within the specific framework of the DGS curriculum. Special emphasis will be placed on research.


    Course Description
    Classes will be split between GS content and writing mechanics. Students will be required to write four research essays, elaborating on class topics using research essay writing mechanics as discussed in class and readings. This course meets twice a week, 1h15 each time, for 15 weeks.
