    Course Objectives
    It is designed for students who want to learn the very basic Korean language. Emphasis is placed upon the Korean alphabet, Hangul. Furthermore, students will be able to acquire the basics of practical conversation.

    Course Description
    Understand the principal of invention of Hangul and the fundamental system of pronunciation. Pronounce initial consonants, media vowels, and final consonants correctly. Have a good command of basic converstiaonal Korean, including greetings, self-introduction, asking for
    directions, telling time and places, etc.
