This course covers the first part of financial accounting as intermediate accounting I. The major subjects covered are financial accounting conceptual framework and recognition, measurement and presentation of asset and liability accounts. After completing this course, students are expected to comprehend the financial accounting concepts and methods based on IFRS. Successful completion of this course enables students to achieve following goals: Goal 1: Develop problem-solving capabilities in accounting practice Goal 2: Have subject knowledge in financial accounting grasping intermediate level.
