    1. To gain an understanding of psychopathology theories, research, and clinical implications
    2. To understand the Multipath Model of Mental Disorders to explain how four essential factors-biological, psychological, social, and sociocultural-interact to cause mental disorders.
    3. To become aware of major ethical issues that face graduate student and professional psychotherapists
    4. To understand the multicultural, sociocultural, and diversity aspects of abnormal psychology
