ISA offers course level recommendations in an effort to facilitate the determination of course levels by credential evaluators.We advice each institution to have their own credentials evaluator make the final decision regrading course levels.

The following information is for preliminary informational purposes and is subject to change. More detailed information will be distributed at the first class meeting.
This course will give you the opportunity to practice using your English in a variety of presentation formats. The formats for the presentations may include: Impromptu, Informative, Teaching, Dubbing, and Live Broadcast. Dubbing and Live Broadcast presentations will be team presentations. The two-member teams will be assigned by the instructor.
Students will be required to complete peer evaluations during every class meeting for their classmates? presentations. Students will also complete self-evaluations and participate in one-on-one conferences with the instructor for certain presentations.
Activities in class will also include analysis of recorded speeches and presentations. Supplementary lessons may include voice projection and work on differentiating written from oral language.
Attendance will be taken at every class meeting.

Eligibility for courses may be subject to a placement exam and/or pre-requisites.
Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
Please reference fall and spring course lists as not all courses are taught during both semesters.
Availability of courses is based on enrollment numbers. All students should seek pre-approval for alternate courses in the event of last minute class cancellations
