Overview
Course Description:
Contemporary issues; criticałanalytical writing, oral presentations based on class materials and research; assignments; portfolio, debated and term paper.
Course Objectives:
- To be able to critically analyze the effects of globalization using persuasion
- To be able to debate and use oral persuasion concerning global issues
- To create a persuasive argumentative essay concerning human rights
- To be able to analyze poetry and discuss relevant course themes
- To be able to analyze short stories and discuss relevant course themes
Teaching Methods:
Lecturing, small group discussions and student presentations.

Measurement and evaluation of student achievement:
MUIC standard grading criteria: 90% and above is grade A
