    Course Description:

    Music of the past and present; brief historical survey showing development of musical forms and styles.

    Course Objectives:

    • To introduce the students to different forms of music in the Western musical tradition;
    • To introduce them to the aesthetics of these various musical forms;
    • To broaden their music listening scope.

    • Listening to music pieces and discussion

    Measurement and evaluation of student achievement:

    Assessment made from the set-forward criteria. Students who get 80% up, will have Grade A.
