    Course Description:

    An introduction to the principles of financial management, the role of finance within the firm, the firm and its objectives, time value of money, valuation of financial assets, capital budgeting techniques, risk and return, costs of capital, estimation and forecasting of cash flows, project evaluation, and other financial management tools.

    Course Objectives:

    The successful student of Business Finance should understand and be able to apply the concept of time value of money to general valuation of financial assets and other cash flow applications and employ the traditional evaluation techniques of capital budgeting analysis in business and personal capital investment decisions.
