In this course you will acquire an understanding of how the legal principles relating to corporate law apply to business clients. Using a case study, you will examine the key corporate law principles involved in the creation, operation, and winding up of a company in Australia.
Objectives/Learning Outcomes/Capability Development
On the successful completion of this course you will be able to:
- Provide well researched advice to businesses clients on a range of corporate law issues regarding company operations.
- Provide advice to businesses and clients regarding the implications of a changing regulatory environment relating to corporate law.
- Communicate effectively with clients on a range of business issues to indicate the corporate law consequences of decisions taken.
- Conduct research make informed recommendations that support improvements to corporate law.
