OverviewAn understanding of the science underpinning sound nutrition is essential for the evaluation of the role of nutrition in health and physical well-being. This module will explore fundamental concepts in cellular biochemistry and physiology which relate to human nutrition and provide students with an introduction to vocational professional practices. The module content will be delivered via a combination of lectures, interactive tutorials and practical sessions in our human performance laboratories.
Assessment: Essay (50%) ; Short Answer Test (50%).

Eligibility for courses may be subject to a placement exam and/or pre-requisites.
Some courses may require additional fees.
Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
Please reference fall and spring course lists as not all courses are taught during both semesters.
