OverviewModule descriptionExperience and analyse London?s theatre scene, whilst gaining knowledge of the cities theatre history from its birth in the Renaissance period to its development in the modern day world.You will watch shows, study plays and explore a variety of theatre spaces and cultural sites, in order to examine and understand London?s theatrical past, present and future. Learn about the key ideas surrounding authors, actors, audiences and architecture, whilst also developing your own ideas about, and language for, the critical analysis of theatre.In past years students have enjoyed a number of theatre performances during this module.
