This course covers the following topics: health care as an economic commodity; agenc yin health care; the demand for health; economic evaluation of health care programmes; output measurement for resource allocation; hospitals technology and the supply of health care; equity in health care; and the financing of health care.

Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to ISA policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
