  • Overview

    The objective of this course will be to provide students with an introduction to international marketing through study of the international marketing environment and the decisions which are required to develop international markets. The course will focus in particular on analysis of international markets and decision making in the international environment. International market analysis will include study of the data sources currently available on international markets, methods of screening export markets, and export
    marketing research. International marketing managementcoverage will include product development and adaptation for exporting, international distribution, pricing and promotion strategy formulation and implementation. The course will include an analysis of Irish export marketing performance and will in general have an orientation towards the Irish exporter. The course will be taught mainly by nonlecture forms of instruction. Students will be expected to undertake projects and case studies which will form the major course activities.
