OverviewThis course is designed for advanced students with a very good knowledge of the Italian grammar and with a wide and stable vocabulary. During the course the students will review the main advanced grammar topics, will read and write about Italian culture, Italian history and Italian art and literature. During the classes, students are asked to read, to write and to discuss about the above mentioned topics. The reflection on the language is a very important feature of this course. Students will work on original texts taken from newspapers and from Italian radio and television.

Eligibility for courses may be subject to a placement exam and/or pre-requisites.
Some courses may require additional fees.
ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits are converted to semester credits/quarter units differently among U.S. universities. Students should confirm the conversion scale used at their home university when determining credit transfer.
Availability of courses is based on enrollment numbers. All students should seek pre-approval for alternate courses in the event of last minute class cancellations
