OverviewThe changes in world politics over the last 15-20 years have been both sudden and dramatic. This course provides the students with diverse conceptual frameworks for understanding the current transformation of global politics. How basic political science concepts (like state, power, political movements, governance) need to be readdressed in light of these changes will be discussed. The current stage of globalization will be explored by historical comparison with earlier periods of political integration and disintegration, going back to Antiquity.
